Description

The Shelly Dimmer Gen4 builds on the strengths of the Dimmer Gen3, keeping key advantages such as no‑neutral installation (with a bypass needed for loads under 20W) and easy retrofitting using existing wiring. It works with a broad range of lighting types; halogen, incandescent, dimmable LEDs and transformers, and can function as a standalone, flicker‑free dimmer or as part of a larger Shelly smart‑home setup alongside devices like motion sensors.

Connectivity has taken a major step forward in this generation, with native support for Bluetooth, WiFi, Matter and Zigbee, plus a more powerful chipset for faster response and smoother performance. The Dimmer Gen4 also monitors the energy consumption of connected lighting, providing readings every 60 seconds with up to 1% accuracy and storing the data securely in the cloud for later review.
