Warehouse Operative

We are looking to recruit a confident, personable, and friendly warehouse operative to deal with warehouse and logistic duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking & packing orders accurately.
  • Preparation of goods for despatch.
  • Ensuring health & safety requirements are met and company policies adhered to.
  • Keeping the warehouse in a clean & tidy state.
  • Supporting the despatch team on all functions.

Requirements

Training will be provided but the successful candidate must possess the following essential skills: -

  • Must have an up-to-date Counterbalance Forklift licence.
  • The candidate must have a pleasant, helpful outlook, and be well-spoken with a smart, presentable appearance.
  • Good PC skills are essential.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Some previous warehouse experience would be ideal but not essential.

Salary: National minimum/living wage

Accounts Assistant Apprentice

We are looking to recruit a confident, self-driven accounts apprentice to work in our West Midlands Offices to work alongside and assist our accounts team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with accounts related phone calls & queries, taking accurate messages when required.
  • Support with PayPal and petty cash including regular reconciliation of both bank accounts.
  • Chase missing invoices and receipts etc.
  • Creating and amending Excel spreadsheets.
  • Assist with the shared accounts email inbox, such as replying to emails or queries.
  • Providing credit control support when necessary, including monitoring overdue accounts, to be followed up with email and telephone prompts.
  • Daily reconciliation of till transactions.
  • Recording customer receipts onto sales ledger accounts.
  • Basic administrative duties such as filing.

Requirements

Training will be provided but the successful candidate must possess the following essential skills: -

  • The candidate must have a pleasant, helpful outlook, and be well-spoken with a smart, presentable appearance.
  • GCSE Grade A*-C in Maths and English.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
  • Good administration and PC skills are essential.
  • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Basic knowledge of Sage would be ideal but not necessary as training will be provided.
  • Attention to detail must be excellent and able to work on their own initiative as well as work as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills.
