Shelly 3EM 63W Gen3 Single or Three-Phase Energy Meter

The Shelly 3EM 63W Gen3 Energy Meter can simultaneously track voltage, current, and both active and apparent power across three phases, as well as measure the total energy consumed by the connected circuit. While it doesn’t include a built‑in relay and therefore cannot directly switch appliances on or off, the 3EM 63W Gen3 supports extensive scripting capabilities and integrates smoothly with other Shelly devices. This allows it to contribute to energy‑saving setups, such as triggering other Shelly units to power down appliances once they exceed a specified consumption threshold. You can also configure notifications to be sent to the Shelly mobile app whenever a device reaches a preset power‑usage limit.

The 3EM 63 Gen3 can locally store up to 60 days of energy‑usage data, recorded in one‑minute intervals continuously. Older data can be automatically uploaded to the cloud for secure storage. These metrics are available in real time through Shelly’s free mobile app or via a compatible physical display like the Shelly Wall Display.

This version of the SHELLY‑3EM‑63W‑GEN3 is designed for wired installation and can be used in both single‑phase and three‑phase systems. Shelly also offers a flat‑terminal variant (3EM‑63T‑GEN3), which can be mounted directly onto individual devices to measure their power consumption.
