SUB300 Underground motors are maintenance free. These kits have built in stops so no need for tricky ground stops. Motors can operate gates up to 600Kgs.

Single Kits include:

Single Foundation box, SUB300 motor, Manual release key, 110 arm, control panel, Pair of photocells, 2 x Keyfobs, keyswitch, Warming light and antenna.

Double Kits include:

2 x Foundation boxes, 1 x SUB300 Motors, Manual release key, 110 arm, control panel, Pair of photocells, 2 x Keyfobs, keyswitch, Warming light and antenna.

Can I mount to wooden gates?

Yes, you can mount to wooden gates with our specially designed brackets. Call us for pricing.

What is the cable length on the motor?

The cable length of the motor is approx. 1 meter.

What is the maximum opening degrees?

The standard kits are supplied to open to 110 but can open to 180 with special 180 arms pictured below.

What type of cable do I need?

4 core armoured 1.5mm for distance upto 20m . For the photocells you will need 2 core minimum with current rating 1A or higher per core. We can supply alarm cable which is ideal for photocells.

What are photocell sensors?

Photocell sensors are a safety device that sends an invisible infra-red beam across your drive. The gates are prevented from closing if the beam is obstructed.

What other safety do I need?

What is the opening time?

The opening time for a SUB300 Underground opener is around 18 seconds to 90 degree opening.

Can I use my remote controls with my garage door opener?

Yes. You can use a LiftMaster universal receiver on your garage door opener to allow you to use the same remotes. If you have a LiftMaster garage door opener the remotes maybe the same. Our remotes come with 3 Buttons so you can assign a garage door opener to the third button.
